With story sessions, I'm a fly on the wall as we go through the ebbs and flows of your day. There's not a single worry about something not going to "plan", because that's life. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the absolutely beautiful. The messier, the better. These sessions aren't just for families, they can be for maternity, newborn, and motherhood as well.

A slow paced session documenting your family. I give us ample time to photograph so we can focus on creating photos that truly reflect who you are rather than a time crunch.

A signed contract + $200 non-refundable retainer are required to book. The remaining balance is due by the day of your session. You’re able to pay through an invoice (by bank transfer) or Venmo.

what's your approach?
I'm very laid back and allow the space for organic moments to happen. I've been doing this long enough, I know when to hold out on disrupting moments because something great is about to happen.
I gently guide you through the session but, I can't stress this enough, go into the session with no expectations and magic will happen. I have no expectations for your session. No, that's a lie. My only expectation is to photograph your family as they are, quirks and all, because that's your family and your family deserves to be photographed, exactly as they are.
are you lgbtqia+ inclusive?
where are you located? do you travel?
I live in Omaha, Nebraska and serve the surrounding areas. And heck YES I travel, I love road tripping and going to new places! If you want me to travel to you or another location, reach out for a custom travel quote.
how do i book?
To book, go to my contact page and send me a message! My business hours are 10am-5pm, M-F. Emails are answered within 48 hours during business hours. We’ll talk about what you’re wanting and the next steps. Once I get the signed contract and non-refundable retainer, you’re in my calendar!
what's a motherhood session?
when should we schedule a maternity/newborn session?
I recommend scheduling maternity sessions between 28-35 weeks. We want a bump, but don't want mom to be too uncomfortable during the session. For newborn sessions, the sweet spot is within the first 21 days, but we can definitely go beyond that time frame as well.
what do we wear for our session?
After you book, I’ll send you my ‘session guide' that’ll have all my tips + tricks to picking outfits! I also have an Instagram highlight and a Pinterest board dedicated to outfit inspiration!
what if our house is messy or our child starts crying?
No worries! A messy house is real life haha. As a heads up, my favorite rooms to shoot in are living rooms, bedrooms, and any room with great natural light!
And that's totally normal! Let me tell you right now, 99% of kids I photograph aren't happy the entire time. When that happens I take a step back, let you comfort your child, and we can take a break if needed (I’m also not above bribery and always have some Smarties in my camera bag.. 🤫😉)
what if i need to reschedule?
Please let me know ASAP! I understand if an emergency comes up, or someone gets sick, but send me a message right away so we can get it figured out.
I know Nebraska weather gets crazy, but, if it’s not too bad out, we can make some adjustments and still be able to create some amazing photos. We’ll just keep in contact leading up to the shoot, to make sure it’s still safe for everyone!
what's your turnaround time? do i get all the photos you take?
Within 4 weeks, but don’t worry, I love posting sneak peeks, so you’ll definitely see a few before I deliver the gallery!
Nope, you’ll only get the best! I’m a shutterbug so you’ll get plenty delivered, don’t worry about that. I pass on the; out of focus, eyes closed, crazy faced (not in a good way) photos, and give you the smiling, laughing, genuine ones. But I’m not saying a few outtakes won’t just happen to make it into the final cut 😉
