Hi there! I’m Lane and I’ve been in business for 8 years now.

I know first hand how time intensive editing can be. I also know sometimes you need a little help. I’ve had to outsource my editing before and was so thankful I was able to! You can do it all, but you can’t do it all all at once. I have experience with many different types of editing styles, let me help when you need something taken off your plate!

Basic editing includes exposure, white balance, basic panel, cropping/straightening, and HSL adjustments. Advanced editing includes basic editing, spot/object removal, skin smoothing/touch up, denoise, gradient filter, radial filters, and other masking.

the process

    1. get your files ready + build smart previews

      After importing your raws into LR Classic, edit at least 1 anchor photo from each part of the day/part of the session you want edited. That’s what I’ll use to match the rest of the photos to. For black & white photos, you can use color labels or star ratings to indicate which photos you’d like in b&w. Please also edit at least 1 photo in b&w so I have that to match to. To build smart previews, in the Library tab, select all the photos and click Library > Previews > Build 1:1 Previews.

    2. export the catalog

      Select all photos and click File > Export as Catalog. On the export screen, name your catalog with your name in the ‘Save As’ box and check the box next to Build / Include Smart Previews. The new folder with the exported catalog should have 3 files in it; the catalog, a Smart Previews.lrdata file, and a .lrcat-data file. I need all 3 of those files to open the catalog and edit the photos.

    3. send the catalog

      Zip the entire folder and send to me through Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer. To zip it, right click the folder and click ‘compress’.

    4. proofs

      Within 48 business hours, I’ll send you samples for approval before editing the full catalog. You can tell me any notes you have or any changes/tweaks you want to make.

    5. delivery

      My turnaround time is within 10 business days per gallery (unless a rush order is requested). I’ll let you know when I’ve finished editing and send an invoice. Once the balance is paid, I’ll send you a zipped catalog with the edited photos.

    1. zip the folder with raw photos + send

      Put all the raws to be culled into a folder, zip it, and send to me through Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. To zip it, right click the folder and click ‘compress’.

    2. approval

      After I take a look at the photos, I’ll send you the total and estimated date of delivery. I’ll also ask if there’s any specifics you want me to keep in mind when culling (total number of photos to cull down to, more photos included of certain moments, etc.). Once I receive approval and any necessary info, I’ll get started.

    3. delivery

      My turnaround time is within 5 business days. I’ll let you know when I’ve finished culling your gallery and send an invoice. Once the balance is paid, I’ll send you a zipped folder with the culled photos and any notes I may have taken when culling.

  • Yes! When we work together for the first time, I want you to be confident that we’re a great fit so I will edit 5 photos for free.

  • I work with the newest version of Lightroom Classic only.

  • Once I finish editing/culling, I’ll send you an invoice with the final balance. If you’re in the US, you can pay by bank transfer, Venmo, or Zelle. If you’re outside the US, you can pay by card. After I receive your payment, I’ll send you the zipped catalog with the finished photos/zipped folder with the culled raws.

  • For editing:
    Within 10 business days per gallery. If you need a quicker turnaround time, I offer rush orders for a fee. Rush orders/fees are per gallery.
